Refund Policy

Disclaimer: TechWhizz LLC is an independent service provider, which provides and support for different brands of software, hardware and computer peripherals. You can always get support from brand owner and we do not claim that we are associated with any brand unless specified.

 

CANCELLATION AND REFUND OF SERVICES.

You may cancel the services at any time by providing TechWhizz LLC with a notice of your intent to cancel your services by sending a request to billing@techwhizz.us. You acknowledge that the cancellation will be effective from the beginning of the next month after you provide notification to TechWhizz LLC via the phone or message. TechWhizz LLC will provide you with confirmation of both your request to cancel services and the actual cancellation of services. If you do not receive a confirmation of your request to cancel after sending a message or if you do not receive a confirmation of service cancellation, you must notify TechWhizz LLC by sending a message to billing@techwhizz.us or contacting TechWhizz LLC Customer Care by telephone.

30 days Money Back Guarantee:

You are entitled to receive 100% of your money back in case we are unable to solve even one your computer / peripherals related issues to your satisfaction, or not solved within the time frame promised to you. You must apply for this refund within 30 days of purchase of your plan. In order to avail the Money Back Guarantee, you are required to send a request to billing@techwhizz.us stating your name, details of the plan and the reason for seeking a refund. We would revert to you within 3 working days on details of your refund.

Refund

You will receive refund or partial refund or any credits for any charges already billed to your card in proportion to the amount of time left in your subscription period. The time left in your subscription would be calculated to the nearest month left in your service period. For example if you have a 1 year subscription and you chose to cancel the subscription in the third month of service you would receive a refund for the nine months left in your service. A minimum of $49 would be deducted from each PC per year of subscription at the time of cancellation. So, if your subscription is for 2 years, the minimum deduction would be $98. There would be no refunds in case of incident based support if at least one of your issues has been successfully resolved. In case you have used our service and still file a chargeback, your card would become ineligible to receive a refund from us. In case of any hardware purchase from us there would not be any refund unless the customer has not received the product from us within 30 days of purchase.

OnSite Terms of Service

 

These Terms of service cover TechWhizz LLC ’s OnSite in-home, in-office and in-store computer diagnosis, repair and installation services.

 TechWhizz LLC OnSite refers to technology diagnosis, repair, and installation services provided by TechWhizz LLC .

 Service Warranty

If you are not satisfied with the services received from TechWhizz LLC OnSite, please call 1-855-861-2263 FREE for assistance. If there is a problem with the service provided by TechWhizz LLC , and if you notify us within 14 days of the initial service performed, we will work to remedy your problem quickly and at no additional labor cost to you.

If repairs were necessitated by a virus or spyware, this 14-day labor warranty is valid only if anti-virus and anti-spyware protection for your computer system was installed and updated during the entire warranty period.

Parts Warranty

TechWhizz LLC provides a 30-day return policy for all equipment purchases excluding labor, special orders, software, digital subscriptions or content, consumable items such as batteries, items that are damaged or abused, or items that are missing accessories such as remote controls, cords or cables.Aside from this return policy, the warranty for all purchases, if any, is provided solely by the original manufacturer.

 PC Assembly Warranty

TechWhizz LLC provides a 90-day limited labor warranty for custom assembled PCs, workstations and servers. Please read our full PC Assembly Warranty for more information.

 

Scheduling

TechWhizz LLC OnSite service hours are Monday – Friday 9am to 5:30PM. Additional charges may apply for emergency services or service outside of standard hours.

 Trip Fees

Additional trip fees may apply for services rendered at locations that exceed 20 miles from TechWhizz LLC’s office.

 If our technician drives more than a total of 40 miles round-trip, each additional mile beyond the first 40 will be billed at a rate of $1.25 per mile.

 The total trip fee will be pre-calculated and disclosed prior to the run and will be charged to your account before our technician is dispatched. This fee is non-refundable even if the run is cancelled due to no adult being present when our technician arrives.

Customer Responsibility

For in-home or in-office services, a person of at least 18 years of age must be present during the entire period services are provided. If no adult is present when the TechWhizz LLC technician arrives, services will be denied and a $50.00 cancellation fee will be charged.

 

TechWhizz LLC OnSite technicians are familiar in the protocols of computer hardware and software installation, troubleshooting and configuration, but are not official OEM authorized service technicians. Customers agree that by allowing the TechWhizz LLC OnSite technician to have access to computer and networking equipment MAY VOID ANY AND ALL WARRANTIES covering computer hardware, software and any other associated parts or equipment.

The LOSS OF DATA IS A REAL AND INHERENT RISK and Customer agrees to have taken all necessary precautions by backing up all important, personal and proprietary data.

 

Cancellations

To cancel your in-home or in-office service appointment, you must contact TechWhizz LLC OnSite at 1-855-861-2263 FREE at least 2 hours prior to the scheduled service. Cancellations of scheduled appointments that do not occur within this time frame will result in a $50.00 service fee.

Emergency on-site visits often require us to reassign a technician off of an existing customer job.  Cancellation of an emergency run that occurs after our technician leaves our facility will result in the full minimum billing for that run.

 

Abandoned Property

Due to space limitations, we request that you pick up your equipment promptly. 

If equipment is left with TechWhizz LLC OnSite and is not picked up, or is unable to be delivered, within ninety (90) days after we notify you that the requested service is complete, we will treat your equipment as abandoned. You agree to hold TechWhizz LLC OnSite harmless for any damage or claim for the abandoned property, which we may discard at our sole discretion. Any and all charges are still your responsibility.

 Limitations of Service

TechWhizz LLC reserves the right to refrain from providing any or all requested services and instead refund your payment, wholly or in part, on the basis that your technical needs or other requirements are unusual or extensive and beyond the scope of this service agreement as reasonably determined by TechWhizz LLC Internet Services.
